How We Work

If you were to bump into the owner and ask, " What's one thing I could do to improve my business?" He’d reply, "Start working backwards!"

Business can be likened to cooking. Anyone can do it, if you know what you want to make. Sure it's going to taste different and look different, depending on who's cooking. But the key is knowing what you want to make!

Our role in working with medical professionals is determining what you want to make out of your business! Is it money? Do you want to launch a new program? Is it more time for family life? All those are important questions, but there are two questions you must answer:  WHY are you doing what you're doing? And is WHAT you're doing, getting to where you want to be?

As consultants, our first goal is to understand the whys and the whats about your business. When we catch a glimpse of where you're at, it helps both parties determine the next steps. This is one of the beauties in our free 30-minute phone consult. It offers us an opportunity to understand your goals, roadblocks, and end game for your medical practice.  We can quickly evalute by that conversation, if need if we can help you acheieve your goals, remove those roadblocks and navigate you towards your end game!  That's why we give you a free 30-minute phone consult, to understand the whys and whats before any promises are made or money is exchanged. We find this to be the best approach.

Game Plan

Sports is also a great illustration for business.  Wether you watch, play or coach, there is one singular truth, regardless of the sport. To win, there must be a game plan to win!  Formulating a Game Plan for your business is paramount to your success! It's an intentional process, that when properly executed can deliver amazing success.

Key components of your business’s GAME PLAN:

Goals - The measurable and quantifiable milestones that let you know you're on mission.

Attitude - Your approach pursing those goals reveals the spirit of you and your team.

Mission - Where do your choices in time and money lead you and your business?

Ecology - Understanding the relationship and energy between the facets of your business.

Process - Every aspect of your business has a beginning, middle and end. These need to be understood by yourself, your team and patients so everyone is on the same page.

Language - How you speak about your business is the basis for the culture you create - words matter.

Accountability - Asking the necessary questions of you, and your team, protects your culture, goals and mission.

Net -  Being intentional in what remains after all that has been given.

What's Important...what are our Values?

The Compass is an amazing tool. For centuries mankind has used this tool to navigate the world, find their way back home and uncover unfathomable treasure. We use a compass to ensure we our following our four values.

N for No Bulls#%!

I don't like to mince words and make something sound good when it's not. None of us have the time, nor should we have the patience for that approach to business. Truth matters and communicating that truth can at times, be difficult. Facing your business issues directly and intentionally, not retreating from the realities around you, allow for great opportunity. That's why honestly communicating the truth without the run-around is true north.

S for Significance

Significance is making a difference your life and in the ones you love. It is the outcome of working hard to implement truth in society. IF the work doesn't matter and has no social significance - I'm not interested.

W for Work Smart

In the long run, working smarter outweighs working harder. There is a right way to approach life, problems, relationships as well as business...then there is a wrong way. Let's try to minimize the wrong ways and do it right the first time.

E for Enjoy Life

At the end of the day, if you're not enjoying your life then it's time to change things. Your business can be what you want it to be. You pen your own story. You determine your own happiness. Life it too short and too wild not to be aggressively shaped for your enjoyment!
